Omega is giant Swiss watch manufacturers. It is in direct competition with Rolex to be the “King of Swiss watch brands. Omega was founded by Louis Brandt in 1848 when he was just 23 year old. He started the company by assembling watches. After his death in 1879, his two sons Louis-Paul and Cesar Brandt took over and started making watches in-house and that is now one of the world’s largest watch supplier. Omega has set the great standard of quality over the years and that leads the brand to get some prestigious customers.

Britain’s Royal Flying Corps chose Omega watches as official timekeepers in 1917 for its combat units

Omega watches are also official timekeepers for the American Army since 1918

Omega watches were the choice of NASA and first watch on the Moon in 1969

Omega has been official timekeeping device of the Olympic games since 1932
